Work safety regulator asking questions about greyhound track accident

SafeWork New South Wales has confirmed they are looking into our story about a serious accident at Muswellbrook greyhound racing track earlier this month.

Eyewitnesses say the victim was hurled high into the air after being struck by the moving metal arm chased by the dogs.

NSW Ambulance confirmed they attended the site just before 4 o’clock on April 5. A man in his sixties was taken Muswellbrook Hospital with a deep laceration.

Greyhound Racing New South Wales who own the track has refused to comment.
