An analysis of air quality data has reportedly found our air quality consistently breaches international health standards.
The Herald reports over the past 12 months alone, Muswellbrook has exceeded World Health Organisation guidelines 18 times and Singleton five times.
Camberwell and Mount Thorley have also breached both W-H-O and Australian guidelines multiple times this year.

The news comes as the EPA launch a Bust the Dust campaign to monitor the amount of dust Upper Hunter coal mines are producing impacting on our air quality.
