Ravensworth grass fire downgraded to ADVICE

The Rural Fire Service has downgraded the alert level for a small grass fire between Singleton and Muswellbrook.

The incident on the New England Highway at Ravensworth at the Lemington Road intersection was called in just after 12:00 p.m. and quickly updated to a WATCH AND ACT alert level.

Fire crews on the scene have since set it back to ALERT.

Five hectares have been burned by the fire, which is described as ‘being controlled’
