Singleton Council picks two Deputy Mayors

A break from convention at the first formal meeting of the new Singleton Council overnight.

Two councillors have been chosen for the Deputy Mayor’s role after the issue was put to a vote.

Sue George will take on the job for the next two years before handing the reins over to Malinda McLachlan for the second half of the term.
