Veterinarians and fire experts have been added to the list of essential workers desperately needed in the Upper Hunter.
The professionals have been added to the Welcome Experience program run out of Muswellbrook Shire Council for Singleton, Muswellbrook and Upper Hunter Shires.
Community Connector Coordinator Katrina Kiely said the first year of the State Government program has been extremely successful with more than 70 nurses, doctors, paramedics and teachers relocating to the Upper Hunter.
