Upper Hunter Shire Council says leasing out the Hunter Warbirds Museum will save ratepayers around $2-million.

The joint bid also includes Paul Bennett Airshows taking over responsibility for staging of the ‘Warbirds Over Scone’ event.

The move follows massive financial losses for ratepayers on the museum and event since their inception.
