The woman accused of killing Diedre ‘Dee’ Folpp in her Muswellbrook home has been remanded in custody after the first court mention of the case.
52-year-old Jo-Ann Graham if charged with murder following the discovery of the 60-year-old’s battered body in her Sydney Street property 12 days ago.
Court documents reportedly claim the killing was domestic violence-related because both women had their address down as the same residence.
The Telegraph reports police allege Graham killed Ms Folpp between 12 pm on Friday October 27 and 8:30 pm on Monday October 30.
She was arrested by police outside a licensed premises on the same street 90 minutes before the victim’s body was found a few hundred metres away.
Graham didn’t appear during the brief procedural mention in Newcastle Local Court yesterday.
The matter has been adjourned till January 17.
