A teenager is recovering this morning after being bitten by a snake late yesterday in Aberdeen.
The 15-year-old was apparently swimming in the Hunter River behind the public school when the eastern brown struck.
He was stabilised by NSW Ambulance paramedics.

A crew from the nearby Aberdeen Fire Station then carried him up the steep embankment to the waiting ambulance which rushed him off to hospital.
