A petition calling for seat belts to become mandatory in buses is approaching 8000 signatures with less than 24 hours before it closes.
The action was created by close family members of people killed in the Greta Bus Crash Tragedy on the June Long weekend.
The petition currently has just over 7,980 signatures with it to be taken offline by Federal Parliament at midnight.
