The controversial red bin issue has raised it’s head again in Muswellbrook Shire.
The Hunter Valley Newsroom has caught out the council recording dodgy minutes on the issue at the last monthly meeting when it came to taking discussion about the topic into a secret squirrel session.
A check of the minutes stated all councillors endorsed taking it behind closed doors when in fact almost half did not.

Muswellbrook Shire Council GM Derek Finnigan said this has now been corrected after reviewing a video recording of that part of the meeting.
