Fire crews have used the laws of life to remove the roof of a car to rescue a person trapped after a single vehicle crash at Belford.
Fire and Rescue New South Wales Branxton Station arrived at the scene on the New England Highway yesterday afternoon to find the light truck had rolled over before coming to rest on its side.
The trapped driver was rescued and assessed by ambulance paramedics before being airlifted to the John Hunter Hospital by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
