Authorities have declared a fire that destroyed a home in Aberdeen yesterday is not suspicious.
The house on Macqueen Street ignited in flames just before 11 am with firefighters arriving a short time later to find the front of the home fully engulfed in flames.
The occupants of the house, a woman, several children, and some kittens managed to safely escape before the fire took hold.

Firefighters were forced to return yesterday afternoon after strong winds re-ignited the blaze.
