Singleton Mayor Sue Moore said she stands firmly behind Mitchells Flat property owners opposed to a massive solar farm development in the village.
Elgin Energy is proposing to erect 170,000 solar panels as part of the Hunter Renewable Energy Zone.
Councillor Moore said while she can’t attend a public meeting at the local hall tonight, residents have her full support.
