A mine heavy equipment operator has been rushed to hospital after an accident at Mount Arthur.
Ambulance paramedics were called to the mine just south of Muswellbrook yesterday after reports that two large trucks had collided.
NSW Ambulance said they treated two people, one taken to the John Hunter Hospital with face and hand injuries.

BHP has confirmed it temporarily stopped operations at the site.
The company told the Hunter Valley Newsroom….the mine safety regulator has been advised.
“Our focus is on supporting our injured colleagues and their workmates,” a spokesperson said.
