Mural displays Aboriginal connections to local railway

A passing idea during the COVID-19 Lockdown has led to the production of a beautiful mural at an Upper Hunter railway station.

Some local Aboriginal elders were walking past Muswellbrook Station when they thought it could do with some artwork depicting their people’s strong connection to the local railway…from building it to being users.

Aunty Jean Hands said the mural includes four separate artworks which now proudly hang at the station.
