A Moonan ratepayer has thanked those who signed her petition calling on the State Government to sack the Upper Hunter Shire Council and bring in an administrator.
Trisha Taylor launched the protest sick and tired of all of the public money being lost on projects such as the Scone Airport, Hunter Warbirds Museum and Scone Saleyards.
Mrs Taylor said a total of 1201 signatures makes it quite clear to the Government that ratepayers are not happy with how the shire is administered.

She said she expects to hear from the Minister now, who is required to respond if at least 500 signatures are gathered.
