Extra counseling and support have been put in place at an Upper Hunter High School following the death of a student on the weekend.
17-year-old Tyrell Campbell died after crashing the trail bike he was driving along Maitland Street in Muswellbrook on Saturday afternoon.
The Education Department has told the Hunter Valley Newsroom support is in place at Muswellbrook High School for students and staff, and will remain so as necessary.
