The State Government is claiming success this morning on a trial to access prescription medication without going to see a GP.
Under the trial, pharmacists can dispense medications for uncomplicated urinary tract infections and low-risk oral contraceptive pills.
From July 1 last year till January 18…there were 49 consultations recorded in Singleton, 19 in Muswellbrook and 18 in the Upper Hunter Shire.
