Singleton Pentathlete enjoys her first Games

Singleton’s Genevieve Janse van Rensburg has delivered an impressive performance in her Games debut iin France.

The 20-year old was chasing a top 9 finish in the Women’s Modern Pentathlon.for a position in the final but unfortunately fell just short to claim 13th position.

Genevieve said it was an experience she will never forget.

“She said it’s unlike anything else she has ever experienced, especially in pentathlon, which is a small sport.”
