Singleton is back on the ‘Winners List’ after winning a midweek wet weather catchup game in the Northern League One Football Competition.
Last night the eighth-placed Strikers upset the second-placed South Cardiff 1-nil to send them home back down the Hunter Expressway in shock.
Both teams will face off against each other again on Saturday afternoon in Singleton.

In other midweek results…Thornton and Kahibah drew 1-all and defending Premier’s West Wallsend beat crosstown neighbours Wallsend FC 3-1.
